Aurelia Rhoden is one of the best and most gifted moms I know. She is mother of my grandson, Eddie Andrew Meredith, Jr. I consider myself an expert, having founded and managed Beacon of Hope – Renaissance Learning Center (strengthening families and communities) for 22 years, that served thousands of challenged families (principally low-income single-moms) throughout Metro-Atlanta. Aurelia has not let adversity steal her dream of becoming a fashion mogul. She is currently a working mom at UPS with 14-years’ experience and going to school full-time in Business. In her column, she will share what she does to juggle the role of parent and career mom in the cosmopolitan city of Atlanta, Georgia.
