It’s never an easy task giving a toddler or infant medicine. In fact, it can be extremely challenging — so, why not make it a game!

Here are some helpful game-tips I use when I give medicine to Eddie Junior:
Step 1: Be sure to use a plastic syringe or medicine dropper;
Step 2: Try your best to position your child sitting up;
Step 3: Place the syringe past the teeth or gum line;
Step 4: Slowly drip the medicine onto the back of the tongue;
Step 5: Give your child a shot of juice to chase the medicine down; and
Step 6: Don’t forget to celebrate by doing a happy dance!
